Share your values

Amalgamated Bank

Can a bank be progressive?
Does it matter where you put your money?
How do you clearly communicate your values?

We helped 95 year old Amalgamated Bank communicate the story of its progressive values, roots, and the importance of putting your money where your heart is. And then we helped them design a flexible web platform to tell their constantly evolving story.

Express your difference

Red Hat

How do you tell the story of what you do when what you do is invisible?
How do you communicate the complex value of your offering simply?
How do you go from a $1 billion dollar company to being acquired for $34 billion?

We helped the enterprise software giant Red Hat define the story of its products, its value, and its beliefs. And then we built a nifty story telling web platform for them. Fun!

Find your people

Smithsonian National Natural History Museum

How do you share what’s magical about a place to people who can’t visit it?
How do you communicate your values without sounding preachy?
How do you reach and teach the next generation?

We helped the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History create an online experience that communicated the values expressed in the Sant Ocean Hall to those who couldn’t make it to DC. To meet the museums goals of increasing ocean literacy we developed a story telling strategy and an online ocean portal design to help the museum reach ocean enthusiasts, hobbyists, and teachers and their students.

Make it clear

Rochester Institute of Technology

What do you do when you have too many voices?
How do you communicate when no one seems to agree on your story?
Can a simple system provide multiple stakeholders with clarity?

We helped the Rochester Institute of Technology create a web-based storytelling system and platform to help its colleges, centers, departments, and people tell the story of their passions, excitement, and beliefs to clearly communicate to students, parents, and alumni the unique and special character of the place and people. And then we helped them strategize ways to get there—to move from hundreds of homebuilt websites to a single, unified platform.

Make it delightful

Cartoon Network

What if one size doesn’t fit all?
Can a brand really listen to the people who love it, even when they’re kids?
Can a brand help you play?

We helped Cartoon Network create an addictive and playful app for phones and tablets that brought together the media giant’s exciting programs and games in one simple Watch & Play experience. Following the lead of user testing we designed an app for and by the tweens who watched, played, and enjoyed it. Sometimes parents just don’t understand and that’s OK—in this case the apps topsy turvy, tilt one way for games, the other for videos, or keep it upright to do both, confused and confounded adults, but of course, the tween testers got and loved it right away. To make it delightful, you’ve got to get in touch with who you are trying to delight.
